Santa’s Laundry Line

by Eleonore von Castelmur

Since I don’t have a Christmas tree, I decided to knit some pieces to make a garland. I don’t like seaming; therefore they are all constructed to be knit in the round. I also tried to keep the individual pieces in proportion to each other.

Mini Sock Yarn Sweaters

by Janet McMahon

These decorative sweaters are worked in one piece, top down. They are a great way to use up your leftover scraps of sock yarn – approximately 5g of yarn required.

Falling Snow Stocking

by Jennifer Hoel

This was originally knit as a Christmas gift for my niece, Paige.
The stocking uses bulky weight yarn and real sock construction, including a short row heel and abbreviated rounded toe. So, if you wanted a pair of socks to wear, knitting with fingering weight yarn and minor modifications should do the trick. In bulky yarn, however, this is one laaarge rustic looking stocking!
